Bessie Gibson Obituary

Mrs. Bessie Green Gibson, daughter of the late Ira and Mable Stockard Green, was born in Lafayette County MS on January 6, 1923.

She was united in matrimony to Lloyd Gibson, and he preceded her in death.

Bessie was a homemaker and a member of West Springhill MB Church. She was a classy woman and was known for her class, smile and fashion.

On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, while at Oxford Health and Rehab, Bessie Gibson went peacefully to sleep in Jesus. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother and sister: Rev. Lorenzer Green and Mrs. Mable Pettis both of Oxford and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ira and Mable Green and siblings: Sam and Ira Green, Jr., Lillie Parker and Willie Pettis.
