Beverly J. Gunter

Beverly was born to the late Mary (Buford) Herod-McEwen and Sylvester Herod on November 11, 1959.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Buford Chapel UM Church.

Beverly married Michael Gunter on September 21, 1991 and they celebrated 27 years together. She was a cashier at Wal Mart.

She departed this life on June 12, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS.

She leaves to cherish her memories , her husband, Michael, one son, Kennith Herod, 4 grandchildren whom she adored, her father, Sylvester Herod, three sisters, Patricia Turner, Regarner (Mike) Thompson, Renita (Xavier) Hoskins, one brother, Eric (Diane) Herrod and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, friends and classmates.

Beverly is preceded in death by her mother and paternal grandparents.
