Charles Dunn Obituary

Charles Dwight Dunn was born in Oxford, MS on May 30th, 1961 to the late LC and Virginia (Nolen) Dunn. At a young age, Charles accepted Christ and became a member of Beverly United Methodist Church in Oxford, MS. He remained a faithful member until beginning his career in the United States Army and United States Marine Corps. 

Charles attended Oxford High School and graduated with the class of 1979.

Charles moved all throughout the United States, but settled in Houston, TX. In 2010, he met, fell in love with and married LTC (retired) Louise E. Thompson. Together they served as faithful members of the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, the Infamous Gospel Music Workshop of America, Houston Mass and Texas Mass Choir.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories; his wife LTC (retired) Louise "Lovely" E. Dunn of Houston, TX; his fur baby, Gizmo Dunn; 1 daughter, Alicia Blake Martin; 3 grandchildren, Ashaunti Blake, Lauren Martin and Matthew Martin; 5 brothers, Frankie "A.C." Dunn, Abraham (Wonder) Dunn of Oxford, MS; Ralph (Ethel) Dunn of Horn Lake, MS; Elder Kevin (Marilyn) Dunn of O'Fallon, MO and Roy (Kathy) Dunn of Memphis, TN; 2 sisters, Gina (Jerry) Hairston of Olive Branch, MS and Lena Porter of Oxford, MS.
