Charlisa Lynn Murriel, daughter of Charlotte Vaxter Murriel and the late Lenwood Murriel, Sr., was born in Jackson, MS. on January 28, 1983. Charlisa attended Murrah High School and graduated from Kingsbury High School in Memphis TN. She graduated from University of Memphis with a degree in Business Administration.
Charlisa was a member of Greater Memphis Pentecostal Assembly Church in Memphis TN. She relied on her faith to fight courageously, leading her friends to Christ in the process. Charlisa was employed with Ulta Beauty and was an artist with a passion for fashion. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but children held a special place in her heart. Charlisa enjoyed event planning and was a creative designer.
On Friday evening, September 6, 2019, while in Methodist Germantown Hospital, a sweet sleep fell upon her and she gently closed her eyes and went home to be with the Lord. Charlisa leaves to cherish her memory: her mother: Charlotte Vaxter-Murriel of Memphis TN; two brothers: Robert D. Murriel (LaCresia) of Jackson MS and Lenwood Murriel, Jr., of Memphis TN; two double first cousins: Catherine Murriel and Keri Murriel-Luckett, four nieces: Destiny Murriel, Harper Murriel, and Presley and Madisyn Luckett; four nephews: Landon and Ashton Murriel and Lenwood Thor Alexander Murriel and DeAngelo Luckett, Jr. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
Charlisa is preceded by her father Lenwood Murriel, Sr.
