Lynell (McGhee) Hamilton

Lynell McGhee Hamilton was born in Panola county on June 3, 1959, to the late Leonard McGhee and the late Anna Mae Fletcher McGhee. She confessed her belief in Christ at an early age and later became a member of Bethlehem M.B. Church in Charleston MS. 

Lynell received her education in the Panola County School district and she was united in matrimony to James Hamilton. She was a care giver, showing her love to the elderly and for people who need caring for. Lynell enjoyed planting flowers, shopping, eating, and especially her "sister trips."

On Wednesday, May 8th, 2019, she was given a brand new life when she went home to be with the Lord. She is loving survived by her husband: James Hamilton, of Batesville MS; her children: Kayla McGhee of Ridgeland MS, Crystal Tunner and James McGhee of Batesville MS; her siblings: Joyce Williams of Courtland MS, Sandra Holt of Antioch TN, Lisa Davis of Madison MS, Fleno McGhee of Courtland MS, Larry McGhee of Byram, Leonard McGhee, Jr., and Kerry McGhee both of Batesville MS. She also leaves four grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
