Mary E Perry-Harwell was born March 10, 1928, in Sunflower County to Abraham Jackson and Mary Edwards Jackson.
Mary worked toiling in the delta fields besides her parents, she also worked taking care of her Uncles and Aunts. She was a lover of traveling, a fashionista while dressing in high heels and hats and always had her bags packed and ready to travel. She has seen many beautiful places because of traveling with her family.
She was a devoted Christian working at Valley Chapel Methodist in Tula, Mississippi, she was baptized at Pentecostal Power Church. She also united with several other churches over the years. She has always been a woman who seeks God first and speaks faithfully, exhibiting inner beauty and stays humble. She believed her gift from God was the ability to attend the needs of others rather they are elderly, or infirm she is always there to help.
She was married to Clarence “Son” Perry and Charles Harwell and treasures all the time she spent with her husbands, who preceded her in death.
She is the sister of Gideon(deceased), Righteous(deceased), Ruth(deceased), David (deceased) and Abraham Jackson of Los Angele, CA.
She is a proud mother of Willie Frank Buggs, Jr (deceased), Rosie (Sam) Perry Crawford of Chicago IL, Jesse W. (Elizabeth) Perry of Flint, MI, and Jimmy Perry (deceased). Step-mother to Floretta Perry of Flint, MI, James Harwell of Chicago, IL, Billie Harwell of Chicago, IL , Willie Harwell of Muskegon, MI, and JC, Tina, Melvin, Marvin and Mary (deceased).
Mary E Perry-Harwell, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois.
