Princess Latrell (Pride) was born in Batesville MS to Robert Pride, Jr., and the late Mae Julia Pride. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of St. Peter's MB Church in Sardis MS.
Princess received her education in the Panola County School district and was a graduate of South Panola High School class of 1988. She furthered her studies at Rust College in Holly Springs MS.
She was the mother of two wonderful sons, Traicon and Chrisrone. She described her children as being "Gifted by God." She said, "God gave them to me."
