Vivian Lee (Cade) Brooks

Mrs. Vivian Lee Brooks, daughter of the late Doris (Ivory) and Thomas Cade, Sr., was born in Birmingham, AL, on January 22. 1946.  She accepted Christ at an early age and later in life she joined New Freedom Church of God in Christ in Oxford MS. Vivian recieved her education in Alabama and graduated high school there.

She united in matrimony to Thomas Brooks and she was the mother of three children,  Tammie and Shelia. Vivian gained employment at Motts Chicken plant where she worked for a short time until her health failed.

On Saturday, August 24, 2019 while at Oxford Health and Rehab, Vivian Brooks went home to be with the Lord. 

She is lovingly remembered by her son: Lonnie Cade of Indianapolis IN; her daughters: Shelia Books of Oxford MS and Tammie Brooks of Abbeville Ms; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother: Thomas Cade, Jr of Georgia; and many other family members and friends.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Doris Cade; siblings: Edna, Eugene, Shirley, and Daniel Cade and Brenda Johnson; a grandson: Jarvis Carter.
