Alice was born on February 24, 1956 and grew up in Abbeville, MS with her parents, and her brothers and sisters. Her life was dedicated to Christ at early age when she joined East St. Peter MB Church, where she remained a member until her death.
While, Alice didn't finish high school, she proudly obtained her GED as an adult. She was united in matrimony to Billy Frison and they shared 33 years of holy matrimony. She worked a few jobs in her life. One she was most proud of was the University of Mississippi which she retired from in 2021 after 30 years of service. She also worked at Belk, a job she loved and store she loved to shop at!
The union of Alice and Billy allowed them to love proudly and care for the children they shared. Watosha, James (Melissa), Sherry (Khaalis), Cora, Susie (Shirley), and Brandon (Yamika), and she also cared for Charles, whom she loved like her own son. They were blessed with several grandkids, whom they also happily and proudly loved: Tajerron, Tajaylan, Kizzie, N'sharia, BJ, Joshua, Lyniss, KJ, Khalisia, Olandria, Lil Bj, Kingston, Zion, Makyrah and even a few great-grands! two sons: Wesley and Lonnie, and 2 grandchildren: LaShawn and Genesis, preceded her in death.
Alice's love and memory is also shared by her brothers and sisters: Hersie (Shirley), Shirley, Walter, Mae Ruth, Will (Deloris), and Ellen (David). Her parents: C.F. and Cora Pegues; her brother: Burley, and two brothers-in-law: WC and Clyde, preceded her in death.
Alice enjoyed all her special relationships with her nieces and nephews, especially Moonie, Shell, Christina, Nick, and Terry and her great nieces and nephews, especially Bran Bran, Bria, Aundrea, Makayla, and Honesty.
She also leaves to cherish her memory and loving spirit, lots of in-laws, cousins, and, an abundance of friends that would became more like family. She also had a special friendship with her Cousin Flo, who preceded her in death.
Alice brought lots of joy, laughter, and memories, more good ones , than not so good, to the lives of all whom she encountered in her dash.
Alice Lean Frison, her life, love, and beautiful spirit of kindness, caring, and giving, will forever dwell in our hearts.Alice departed this life on December 8, 2023 at her home.
Her work was done. Please keep the Frison/Pegues family in your prayers.
