Barbara Bethel Obituary

Barbara Jean Bethel, daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Dunlap Bethel, was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on April 6, 1940. Barbara worked as a dietary nurse for many year.

Barbara and her loving, caring companion, Sonnie Gooslby, shared many years together, but on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Oxford Health and Rehab, with him by her side, she went peacefully to sleep.

There are no scheduled services but we ask that you please keep Barbara's family in your prayers; along with her companion, Sonnie Goolsby of Oxford MS, please remember her loving children: Tonia Johnson-Williams (Greg) of Jersey City, NJ, Neville Bethel of West Palm Beach, FL and Charles Bethel of Concord NH and her grand and great grandchildren. And her extended Gooslby family.
