LIFE REFLECTIONS
Bernice Sisk was born March 25, 1933 to Mr Winnie and Pricinne McEwen in Oxford, MS. Bernice accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined North Hopewell MB Church where she ushered and was a faithful member until her health began to fail. Bernice married the love of her life Mr. El Murray Sisk , he preceded her in death.
She was employed as a nurse’s assistant for over 20 years and enjoyed caring for others. Many years later, she retired as a housekeeper at the Chi Omega Sorority.
Bernice loved fishing, cooking and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known for treating and loving others as if they were her own. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at her resident. She was surroundedby her loving family. To cherish her loving memory, She leaves 9 children: Murray (Elizabeth) Sisk, Willie (Katherine) Sisk, of Oxford Ms, Bonnie (Anthony) Brown, of Arkansas; Omega (Eddie Frank-deceased), Joanna (Glenn-deceased) Henderson, of Oxford MS; Thomas (Anna) Sisk, Batesville; Greg Sisk and Jerry Sisk both of Oxford,MS, Lottie Francis Sisk (deceased); One sister, Maecine Booker, Taylor; One brother Tommy McEwen, Memphis. A special granddaughter, Andrea Brown, Oxford; special nephews: Floyd Ivy & Eugene McEwen. One special niece Maylene Booker. Two special daughter-in-laws LaShaunda Sisk & Mary (Tina) Sisk. 16 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
