Birda M. Howell, of the late Cleveland and Nora Sims Howell, was born September 5, 1933, in Rankins County MS. She was a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and a member of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Mendenhall MS and a member of Zeta Phi Beta, Inc.
Birda passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital/NM, in Oxford MS.
She is survived by her siblings: Cleveland Howell, Jr. of Brandon MS and Velma (Frank) Brinkley of Galliton TN. She also leaves her care givers/sister-in-law, Stella Frances Howell and niece, Kesha Howell-Atkinson both of Oxford MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Ulysses Howell and Willie Morris Howell
