Bobbie Jean (Quarles) Davis was born on June 4, 1950 to the late Mack Ervin and Lula Bell Quarles in Lafayette County, MS. She was the oldest of six children.
She professed a hope in Christ and joined Jordan Chapel CME Church. She was united in matrimony to Franklin Davis. To this union, three children were born. He preceded her in death.
Bobbie was employed by Emerson Electric Company for 25 years. She later gained employment with Walmart Super Center and remained there until she retired.
On January 21, 2021, while surrounded by her family at her daughter's home, she departed her earthly life.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, three sons, Curley Quarles of Water Valley, MS, Darrell (Cindy) Quarles of Oxford, MS, and Kenneth (Kendell) Quarles of Abbeville, MS; three daughters, Melissa Davis, Myeshea Davis, and Nutricia Davis all of Oxford, MS; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Charles) Herod of Abbeville, MS; five brothers, Mack Arthur Quarles of Oxford, MS, Rev. Marvin (Sharon) Quarles, Dale (Linda) Quarles, James Earl Quarles, and Hayward (Jackie) Quarles all of Abbeville, MS, and one daughter-in-law, Ruth Quarles of Oxford, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Rosie Lee Hickinbottom, and one brother, James Robertson.
