Bobby Lee Coleman was born September 3, 1971, to Mrs. Sally Coleman and the late Mr. James Coleman, Sr. in Oxford, MS.
Bobby Lee accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He received his education from Lafayette County schools and was a 1990 graduate of Lafayette High School. He also attended Northwest Mississippi Community College.
Bobby Lee was a hard worker and was passionate about helping others, especially his family and friends. He was big on family and enjoyed fishing, spending time with his fiancé, Jennifer, and mother, Sally. He also loved grilling, Alabama Crimson Tide football team, watching wrestling, and spoiling his grandkids.
Bobby Lee was united in holy matrimony to Valery Shaw, who preceded him in death. To this union, two sons were born.
On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, Bobby Lee passed away at his home. He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Zachary Coleman of Birmingham, AL and Cortez Coleman of Oxford, MS; two grandchildren, Zyaire and Emori Coleman; loving mother, Sally Coleman of Oxford, MS; sister, Robin Coleman; four brothers, Henry (Shaun) Coleman, James (MeKisha) Coleman, Jr., Michael Coleman all of Oxford, MS, and Anthony (Sandra) Murray of Etta, MS; fiancé, Jennifer Rockett and two bonus children, Josh Tinner and Elisha Webb all of Oxford, MS; nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins; three aunts that loved him very much, Jettie L. Campbell, Mamie Dennis both of Oxford, MS, and Ola Jean Jones of Okolona, MS; uncle, Grady Jarrett of Tupelo, MS; two special aunts, Jerlynn Coleman of Abbeville, MS and Rose Coleman of Waterford, MS; and host of other relatives and friends
