Brenda Faye Booker passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital/NM. Brenda was born May 2,1968, in Kilmichael, MS, to the late Betty Harris and Roy Harris.
Brenda accepted Christ at an early age at New Hope MB Church in Oxford, MS. She attended school in the Oxford School District. In her free time, she loved spending time with family, listening to music, and cooking. Brenda also enjoyed being a house wife.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Malana Booker (New Albany, MS); her sons, Lionel Harris (Olive Branch, MS) and Shuntez Booker (Oxford, MS); her father, Roy Harris (Kilmichael, MS); three sisters, Vicki (Ronnie) Byars, Sheila (Terrance) Jackson (Coffeeville, MS), and Shirley Harris (Oxford, MS); two brothers, James (Sherry) Harris (Water Valley, MS) and Clarence Harris (Water Valley, MS); seven grandchildren, Ja'Naudia Harris, Lionel Harris Jr., Jaylen Harris, Kha'Liyah Harris, Martevious Robinson, Mariah Mitchell, and Alani Booker; and one great-grandchild, Tru Thomas.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mom, Betty Harris; brother, Tom Harris; sisters, Linda Conway and Carla Harris; niece, Shy'Garria Harvey; and her nephew, Joshua Harris. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, other relatives, a special friend, Luke Booker (Oxford MS), and two step children, Betty (Brandon) Morning (Elcerrtito, CA) and Lucus Booker (Milwaukee, WI).
