Clarence Joiner, son of the late John Mitchell Joiner and Alberta Joiner, was born on November 16, 1954, in Lafayette County, Mississippi. where he also grew up. Clarence accepted Christ at an early age at Salem MB Church, presently known as Great New Salem in Lafayette County.
Clarence received his early education in the Lafayette county schools and soon established good work ethics, HE became a skilled concrete finisher and was employed with Mike Martin as a concrete finisher until his retirement.
Clarence enjoyed life. He also enjoyed fishing, finishing concrete and hanging out with family and friends. After suffering health challenges, Clarence found medical attention at Diversicare Health Facility in Batesville, Mississippi. On Monday, April 7, 2025, Clarence transitioned from earth life to eternal life when God called him home. May he forever rest in peace. No more toils of this world.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his brothers: James Houston and David Joiner, both of Oxford, Misssissippi; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother: Mitchell and Alberta Joiner; two brothers: James Earl Joiner and John Henry Joiner; two sisters: Roberta Joiner Ivy and Liggins Joiner.
