Da'Quan Sartavious Coleman was born February 19, 1994 in Oxford, MS to Elisha Annette Coleman.
"DeeCee," as he was affectionately called, gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Alfred L. Hall II. He was a graduate of Oxford High School's class of 2014.
DeeCee loved basketball and was a big fan of Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Whenever you saw him, he either had a basketball or Xbox controller in his hands.
On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Da'Quan passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Elisha A. Coleman (Oxford, MS); two sisters, Ashleigh Z. Coleman (Oxford, MS) and Tylishi J. Phillips (Marietta, GA); one brother, Tayshawn M. Coleman (Marietta, GA); grandmother, Henrietta Coleman (Oxford, MS); grandfather, James Wesley Pegues (Joyce) (Water Valley, MS); great grandmother, Rosie M. Coleman (Oxford, MS), a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
