Darnell Hentz

Darnell Hentz was born on July 28, 1956 to Annies and Rose Hentz in Chicago, IL. He professed his life for Christ at an early age. He attended Alfred D. Kohn Elementary and Christian  Fenger High School both located in Chicago, IL. Later on he graduated from Job Corp and enlisted in the United States Army.

While being deployed overseas, he met  and married Grietje Van der Sluis. They resided in Steenwijk  until May 1978. To this union of marriage a son was born named Simeon Hentz. He  worked as the Supervisor at Brinks company in Staphorst for many years.

Darnell made his transition  from this life on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Panola Medical in Batesville, MS.

Darnell leaves to cherish his memory a son: Simeon Hentz, his father: Annies Hentz, mother: Rose Hentz, four brothers: Anthony Hentz (Shelia), Gary, Elton (Trina), Samuel Hentz and one sister: Devita King preceded him in death, two granddaughters: Cheyenne and Shane Hentz, a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Darnell will truly be missed. He enjoyed playing cards, dominos, barbecues, music. He will never be forgotten by those that he made an indelible impression upon.
