Demond Williams, the oldest of two sons born to Annie Mae Williams, was born in Lafayette County on March 7, 1975. Demond accepted Christ at an early age and joined Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church.
Due to health issues, Demond was never physically able to join the workforce, but he was able to attend school. He graduated with Oxford High School’s class of 1993.
Demond was an avid San Francisco 49’er football fan, he liked listening to music, joking a around, watching tv and being with his family.
On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, Demond was called home from the cruel world of sickness and pain to a place of eternal peace.
To cherish his memories, he leaves: his mother, Annie Mae Williams; his brother: Micheal Andrew Williams; Aunts: Annie Lou Stewart, Denise Williams, Linda James, Ora Patten, Christeen Williams, and Mary Williams: Uncles: Alvin Williams, Floyd (Shirley) Williams, James E. Williams, Jessie (Brenda) Williams and Charlie Williams. He also leaves a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
