Deterious Mar’Shon Brassell was born June 13, 1995, to Terry Lee Brassell and Bettie Mae Sisk in Oxford, MS.
“Big Dee” or “Bubba,” as he was affectionately called by his family, received his education from Lafayette County schools and graduated with Lafayette High School’s Class of 2013.
Deterious was a homebody but did enjoy fishing, hunting, and 4-wheel riding. He was an avid gamer who loved his Play Station 5. He also liked watching football and was a University of AL and New Orleans Saints fan, listening to rap, R&B, and country music. He was notorious for cracking jokes.
On Monday, October 31, 2022, Deterious passed away at his home in Taylor, MS. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
Left to mourn his passing yet cherish his memory are his parents, Terry Brassell and Bettie Sisk of Taylor, MS; siblings, Patreace and Sharmeka Sisk both of Taylor, MS, Sharenity Carothers of Oxford, MS and Gregory Fondren of Batesville, MS; nephews, Ma’lik Sisk of Taylor, MS and Kaden Harris of Water Valley, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Deterious was preceded by his grandparents, Jessie Mae Sisk, Norris and Mae Lean Brassell, and cousin, Aresenio Rashaud Pegues.
