Doris Lee Cathey

Doris Lee (McEwen) Cathey entered into eternal rest on August 13, 2023 at the age of 86 in Oxford, MS. Devoted mother of Mandy (late Jeffie) Goliday, Natalie White, Rebecca (Philip) Marks Sr., Arthur David (Loretta) Cathey Jr. Cherished “granny” to Philip (Chloe) Marks Jr., Ashley (Carl) Barnett, Anthony Goliday, Shaniece and Iana Cathey. Great “granny” to Chandler, Elle, and Audrey Barnett, Philip Marks III, and Ava Cathey. Dear sister of Francis Mathis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Doris is preceded in death by parents, Mandy Quarles and Winnie McEwen. Her husband of 64 years, A.D.Cathey, baby girl Cathey, and grandson, Jeffie Goliday III.
