Eboney A. Armstead was born June 20, 1990 to Calvin L. Armstead and the late Annie Lee Williams – Armstead in Clarksdale, MS.
She accepted Christ early in life and was baptized at Boclair Church of Christ in Charleston, MS. She later joined Percyville Church of Christ under the leadership of Pastor James Curtis, Jr. and remained a member until her untimely death. Eboney enjoyed going to church and when her health didn’t allow her to physically attend, she also enjoyed listening to worship service on her phone.
“Eb,” as she was affectionately called attended South Panola schools. She was so full of life and had a bubbly spirit. Talking on the phone, driving (when she was able), car rides, shopping, listening to music, and cooking were some of her favorite past times.
Eb was definitely a “daddy’s girl” and was persistent in all that she done. Though faced with several health adversities, she NEVER gave up hope, NEVER stopped fighting, and NEVER lost her faith. She was a true inspiration to those who knew her.
Her greatest blessings were her two children, Aniya and Za’Mariah. She was such a great mother to her girls.
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, Eb transitioned from her earthly life to life everlasting with her Savior. Her sweet spirit and kind heartedness will be missed, and memories cherished forever by her daughters, Aniya and Za’Mariah Armstead; father and bonus mom, Calvin and Lassandra “Sonya” Armstead all of Sardis, MS; siblings, Cassandra (Anthony) Hamilton, Kaniesha Armstead, Alma Johnson all of Batesville, MS, Caroline Johnson of Horn Lake, MS, Kiearra Whitehead of Oxford, MS, and Ryan Whitehead, Jr. of Sardis, MS; grandmother, Annie Butler Perry of Sardis, MS; best friends, Tiffany Lester of Southaven, MS, Jennifer Turner of Courtland, MS, and Candace Steveson of Sardis, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Eboney was preceded in death by her mother, Annie L. Williams-Armstead and grandparents, Leroy and Willie Lee Williams and AW and Gladys Armstead.
