Edward Earl Shaw was born January 4, 1964 in Oxford, MS to the late Winzel Wilburn and Cozy Mae Adams.
Earl, as he known, attended Cypress Grove M.B. Church. He was employed as a maintenance worker with the Oxford School District. Earl was a hard working and dedicated employee. He loved his Chargers and you could always find him at a sporting event cheering them on. After 25 years of service, Earl retired from the district but he continued to support those Chargers, even after his health began to fail.
Earl was a jack of all trades and would often do small jobs throughout the community. He enjoyed helping the elderly, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching his Tampa Bay Buccaneers play. Two of his greatest passions were cooking (especially his ribs & potato salad) and being a DJ.
On Friday, June 18, 2021, Earl passed away at his home. His warm smile and laughter will be missed.
