Eunice Keuelani Kihei Smith was born September 24, 1958, to the late Henry and Shirley Maluae Kihei in Kaneohe, HI.
Eunice grew up in Kahalu’u, HI and received her education from Castle High School. In 1979, she met and married the love her life, Charles Edward Smith, while he was stationed in Honolulu. Together, they shared two children.
Eunice traveled often as an “army wife.” She had a nurturing and loving spirit which led her to work as a childcare provider. She also gained employment with Cobra Security as a security officer.
While attending His Harvest Ministries in Oxford, MS, Eunice accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, fishing, and family time.
On Monday, December 20, 2021, just two months after the death of her beloved husband of 42 years, Eunice peacefully answered the Master’s call.
Left to mourn her death and celebrate her life are her children, Kawika Kihei of Vero Beach, FL and Kuuipo (Johnny) Shaw of Oxford, MS; 5 grandchildren, Zela, Znya, Zaria, and Kalissa Kihei, and Zrasja Shaw all of Oxford, MS; siblings, Cloak Kihei of Las Vegas, NV, Henry Kihei and Carolyn Kihei both of Kailua, HI, Emmaline Kihei, Agnes Kihei and Jennie Kihei all of Kaneohe, HI; in-laws, Pastor Harry (Apostle Eyvonne) Smith, Preston Smith, Cassandra Porter, Vonda Agulanna all of Oxford, MS, Modupe Ogenyumi of San Francisco, CA, David Craig Corrothers of Birmingham, AL, Denise Crowder of Southaven, MS, Jeanette Child of South Carolina, Carolyn Houston of Racine, WI, and Alvin (Wanda) Archie of Water Valley, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
