Gabrial Danial (McEwen) Hilliard

Gabrial McEwen, daughter of Richard and Deloies Price McEwen, was born August 5, 2000, in Lafayette county, Mississippi. Gabby, as she was affectionately called by some, grew up in Oxford and received her former education in the Oxford School District, and she was employed with Dollar Tree of Oxford.

Gabrial accepted Christ and was a member of Resurrection House of Prayer. She was the mother of four year old Janiia, whom she adored. Gabby loved spending time with and playing with Jania. She also enjoyed dancing, listening to music and helping to keep the house in order. On Tuesday evening, March 18, 2025, at the age of 24, Gabrial's earthly journey came to an end. 

Gabrial will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Jania Mills of Oxford MS; her parents: Richard and Deloies McEwen of Oxford MS; her sister and niece: Naomi McEwen and Mariah of Oxford MS; her grandmother: Pastor Alice Blackmon-Draper (Donald) of Oxford MS; and her husband: Kelvin Hilliard of Oxford MS, She is also lovingly remembered by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends,
