Glenn Edward Campbell was born to the late Edna Campbell on June 24, 1956. He recieved his formal education in the Lafayette county school district.
Glenn was an active church member of The Resurrection House of Prayer, until his passing. He was a devoted Sunday school teacher as well as an active member of the Finance Committee.
Through his life he performed numerous jobs and tasks for his church, family, and friends. He was employed at Suburban Propane, formally Dowell Gas, for over 25 years, until the decline of his health.
On Sunday evening, February 2, 2020, while in his home, Glenn went peacefully to sleep.
Glenn is proceeded in death by a daughter, Tausha Lynette Campbell, a brothers: Charlie Hill, Richard Hill, and Eddie Hill and a sister: Lorenza Hill; along with his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Leona Campbell; his children: Eric (Janene) Campbell, Tameka (Byron) Smith, Michelle (James) Price, Gloria Campbell, Brenda Lewis, and Robert (Shirley) Lewis. His brothers and sisters: Marion Campbell, Jesse Campbell, Douglas (Lula) Hill, Walter (Dandy) Campbell, Ollie Hill Mitchell, Barbara (Calvin) Young, Minnie Hill Townsend, William Campbell, Calvin (Jackie) Campbell, Loretta (Chris) Jones, Charlie Campbell, Curley (Jerline) Hill, Calvin Hill, Peter (Aundrea) Hill, and Lejuana Banks. He is survived by 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
