Ina Lee Ingram, daughter of the late Sherman and Eliza Morton Ingram was born November 9, 1936, in Marshall County, MS. She attended school at Rosenwall School in Marshall County.
Ina accepted Christ at an early age and joined Jones Grove Baptist Church in Marshall County and after moving to Oxford in the late 70's she faithfully attended Second Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active participant in the Senior Ministry.
She was a person who loved taking care of others. She was a caretaker for the late Mrs. Mamie Bankhead, and the late Mrs. Susie Marshall. She also worked for the Will Lewis family. Ina loved cooking and caring for people. She always wore a gentle smile and will truly be missed.
On Friday, February 7. 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford MS, Ina Lee Ingram went home to be with the Lord. She will be lovingly remembered by her faithful caregiver, her nephew: Sinatra Dawkins of Oxford MS; her brother: James Johnson of Memphis TN; her sisters: Vera Wicks of Chicago IL and Marie of Texas; she also leaves other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
