Jadarius Carothers, son of Brenda Ann Carothers, was born June 26, 1993, in Oxford, Mississippi. Jadarius, was born with a life altering congenital disorder known as Cerebral Palsy, yet he was a bright, happy young man. He loved watching TV, especially Martin and music videos.
When his mom would take him to church, despite his inability to worship as others, the joy of the Lord could be seen on his face as he wiggled around in his chair. Jadarius attend school in the Oxford School District and graduated from the Scott Center in 2014.
Jadaruis didn't care anything about putting on a suit and tie, but he loved his Polo shirts. The man had good taste.
On Monday afternoon, March 16, 2020, while at home with his loving family, the Lord decided He needed to repair Jadarius's physical body so he called him home to be healed. Now Jadarius is singing, "I've got a new walk, over in Zion, I've got a new talk, over in Zion, I've been made new, over in Zion, and it's mine, mine, all mine."
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother and step-father: Brenda Carothers and Henry Jackson of Oxford MS; his brother: Jordan Carothers of Oxford MS; his sister: LaTrice Carothers of Oxford MS; his grandmother: Frances Carothers of Oxford MS and his great grandmother: Earlene Gillard, of Oxford MS; his niece: Ava Webster of Oxford MS; his aunt and uncle: Abigail and Mark Pegues of Oxford MS; his first cousins: Mark Pegues, Demarius Pegues and Demarcus Pegues all of Oxford MS; He also leaves other cousins, relatives and friends.
Jadarius was preceded in death by his grandfather: Larry Mitchell.
