Jeffery Lynn Booker

Jeffery Lynn Booker, son of the late Wade Lester Booker and Bernice Booker, was born in Oxford, Mississippi on February 25, 1957. He was their fifth child. Jeff grew up in Oxford and graduated from Oxford High School in 1975. From there, he attended Northwest Mississippi Junior College for two years. Upon completion of Northwest, Jeff transitioned into the work force where he gained employment at Whirlpool Corp as a forklift driver. He was employed with Whirlpool for 30 plus years. Jeff enjoyed fishing and fixing lawn mowers and being with his friends.

On Saturday, November 18, 2023, Jeff went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife: Cindy; two sons: Jeffery Maurice Magee and Christopher Booker; three brothers: Stephen (Patricia) Booker, Charles (Mary Ann) Ellis, and  Anthony Booker; six sisters: Rosetta Brown, Bernita Booker, Edith Kelly-Green, Sherron Dixon, Rosiland (Titus) Sewell, and Joann Miller. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
