Jennifer Toinette (Bobo) Milliner

Jennifer Bobo Milliner was born January 2, 1976, to Mr. EJ Bobo and Mrs. Barbra Ree Bobo, in Calhoun County. Jennifer accepted Christ as her lord and savior at an early age at Little Rock Baptist Church. She received her education from Calhoun County School District.

Jennifer was a Spring 2001 initiate of the Oxford Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. in Oxford, MS. She loved her sorority deeply and got to witness her daughter become a member in the fall of 2022.

Jennifer was a proud 1998 alumni of Rust College, in Holly Springs, MS. She supported and encouraged everyone to attend and did whatever she could to promote her Alma mater. She was most excited about every year being able to attend Founder’s Day, and to see all of her classmates. 

"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." -Matthew 19:6. On June 10, 2000, Jennifer married her loving husband, Ken, and carried their love for 23 years before her unfortunate passing. During their marriage, they had two beautiful daughters, JeKendra and Kennedi, that they both love tremendously. Along with her husband, Jennifer transferred her church affiliation to Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted attendee and loved to worship there. She enjoyed praising God and was a true believer in Him. Before Jennifer became unable to work due to health conditions, she worked at the Family Crisis Center in Oxford. She was always ready to help whenever she needed. She loved helping others and using her creativity. She loved arts and crafts and whatever she couldn’t do, she always was ready to learn how. 

On October 22, 2023, Jennifer was called home to be with the Lord and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Jennifer leaves to cherish in her memories her dear husband: Ken of Oxford, MS; 2 daughters: JeKendra and Kennedi of Oxford, MS; her mother and father, EJ and Barbara Bobo of Pittsboro, MS; her grandmother: Genny Lee Bobo; her mother-in-law: Juanita Brown of Oxford, MS; father-in-law: James (Minnie) Milliner of Oxford MS; three brothers-in-law: Derrick Milliner of Oxford, MS and Greg (Melissa) Milliner of Atlanta, GA. Gerrel (Teresa) Vaughn of Oxford MS and two sisters-in-law: Audrey (Dean) Rabas of Depere, WI and Angela (Jamone) Edwards of Batesville, MS: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather: Ella & Grant Tedford of Pittsboro, MS; Grandfather: George Bobo of Pittsboro, MS and father-in-law: Billy Brown.
