Kaye Allyson Hill was born January 21, 1960 to the Jane Crockette Hill and the late Richard Hill in Oxford, MS.
“Sissy,” as she was affectionately called, professed her belief in Christ at a young age and she received her education from Oxford City Schools.
She was employed at Rainbow Cleaners for several years and later worked for College Hill Catering Company. She was a very unique person that touched the hearts of many. In her spare time, Kaye enjoyed shopping, painting, and decorating.
Kaye departed this life March 20, 2023 in Oxford, MS.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Jane Hill of Jackson, MS; spouse, Willie Gene Hilliard of Oxford, MS; two daughters, Melissa (James) Wadley and Toya (Neiven) Mitchell both of Oxford, MS; five sisters, Maria (Marshall) Pulliam of Dallas, TX, Rhonda Hill of Florida, Shannon Hill of Jackson, MS, Alisa Thompson and Keshia Phillips both of Oxford, MS; three brothers, Richard “Pete” Hill of Washington, D.C., Lawrence Hill of Dallas, TX, and James Ivy, Jr. of Oxford, MS; 10 grandchildren, Tyrissa King, Tatyana Wadley, Tkyah Wadley, NSharia Hill, Ma’Kia German, MaKenzie Jones, Ke’Unte (Jessica) Hill, D’Shawn Carothers, Cameron Hill, and Neiven Mitchell II; six great grandchildren, Jayden Doyle, Emori Sims, Kason Hill, Princeton Rockette, Jaiceon Draper, and Kay’loniee Wadley; special friends, Richard Jones, Kalista Gipson, and Diane Hilliard (who were more like sisters); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kaye was preceded in death by her father, Richard Hill; great grandfather, Hosea Crockette; sister, Vivian Hill; and great grandson, Lawrence Doyle.
