Kendrick Nelson Owens, affectionately known as Ken, was born February 3, 1976, in Oxford, MS to James Rastus and Annie Owens.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Flint Hill MB Church in Etta, MS.
Ken graduated from Lafayette High School in 1995. He worked in the furniture industry until his health failed. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and hanging with family and friends.
On August 8, 2020, Ken married Robin Armstrong-Owens. To that union, in 2022, one son, Kendall, was born.
On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Ken departed this life to live eternally with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his Father James R., Brother-in-law Delbert Wade; Father-in-law: Robert Armstrong; Mother-in-law: Gwendolyn Armstrong; grandparents: Gracie Mae Smith, Roy Lee Owens, and Lenzy B. McIntosh; Aunt: Earnestine Adams, and Uncles: Roy Owens and George Mcintosh.
Ken leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Robin; children: Jarterious (Deanna), Kenterious, and Kendall; granddaughter: Jaliyah; Mother: Annie Owens Smith; siblings: Eric Owens and Kennether Caruthers; sister-in-law: Aundrea High and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
