Kevin Lamar Corbitt was born August 17, 1978, to Alma Egerson and Curtis Robinson, in Oxford, Mississippi. Kevin was adopted by Lynn Corbitt after his marriage to Kevin's mother, Alma. Kevin came to know Christ and accepted Him into his life at and early age, and became a member of Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Kevin received his formal education at Rolla Senior High School in Rolla, Missouri. He was employment with PECOS Food Company as a fork lift driver and he was previously employed with A1 Concrete. Kevin was a lover of WWE wrestling and a devoted DALLAS COWBOYS fan finding joy and excitement in cheering for his favorite team and watching matches each week.
On Monday, October 14, 2024, at the young age of 46, Kevin made a swift transition to be with the Lord. Now he's looking down and cheering those on that he left behind.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents: Lynn and Alma Corbitt of Jackson, Mississippi; his brother: Charles (Leesong) Corbitt of Jackson, Mississippi; his sisters: Rochelle Corbitt of Jackson, Mississippi and Akera Robinson of Flint, Michigan; nephews: C. J. Wesley and Caleb Corbitt and great niece: Callie Corbitt. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends and community.
Kevin was preceded in death by his biological father: Curtis Robinson; his grandparents: Reverend Lee Egerson and Mildred Egerson and William and Grace Corbitt.
Please keep the Corbitt family in your prayers.
