LaToya Denise Williams Holman, affectionately called, "Rat," daughter of Frank and Joetta Jones, was born January 3, 1982, and was the youngest of six children. LaToya was a happy, vibrant child and at an early age she accepted Christ into her life.
LaToya was smart. She received her education in the Lafayette County School District graduating with the LHS Class of 2000 and furthered her studies at Northwest Mississippi Community College receiving an associates degree in Banking. LaToya's degree led her to a professional career in banking. A career that allowed her to serve the community and she served the community for over 17 years and earned the position of Branch Manager with Oxford University Bank.
In 2006, LaToya met the love of her life and her future husband, Javieus Holman. Together they raised three children, all of whom she truly adored. It's already been mentioned that LaToya was smart, but she was also witty and strong. She would greet you with and BIG smile and open arms. To know her was to love her.
On Sunday, August 18, 2024, while in Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, LaToya gained her heavenly wings and flew away to glory.
