Lee Vester Frieson, Sr. was born September 29, 1941 to the late Georgia Anna Knox and William McKinley in Lafayette County, MS. He attended Buford Chapel School.
Lee was employed with Plywood and Georgia Pacific for many years until he became self-employed and began hauling pulp wood. He had a strong passion for fishing, softball, and outdoors.
On January 28, 2021, Lee departed this earthly life and entered into his eternal home. To cherish his loving memories he leaves his children, Tim Frieson of Baton Rouge, LA, Lee "Weasle" Frieson, Jr. (Denise), Michael Frieson, Marcellous Thompson (Kelontree), all of Oxford, MS, Gwendolyn "Deeneen" Frieson, Candece Frieson both of Oxford, MS, LeeAnn Woodall of Houston, TX, and Rebecca Frieson of Eatonville, FL; 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; three sisters, Gracie Jones of Oxford, MS, Georgia Cohran of Jackson, MS, and Mattie Williams of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter-in-law, Marsha McEwen; a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; one son, George McEwen; three brothers, Art Frieson, William "Boot" Frierson, and Austin Frieson; two sisters, Pauline Frierson and Willie Mae McGlawn.
