Leon Thompson

Leon was born January 10th, 1950, to the late Inez Gray Robinson and Braxton Thompson. He attended Bluff Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

Leon began a new chapter in his life on October 6th, 1995, when he married Frankie Bruce Miller.  Together they built their home on the hill, where he lived until his death.

He was a long-time employee of the Oxford Housing Authority until he retired.  After he retired, he enjoyed a very quiet life on the hill. He enjoyed being outside working on his many projects, with the help of his beloved dog Snoop.

October 21st, 2021, Leon walked into the open arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years Frankie Thompson, two stepchildren, five sisters, one brother, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
