Monia Renee Harris was born March 28, 1980, in Oxford, MS to Wallace and Mary Harris.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and attended and taught Sunday school. After relocating to Southaven, MS for work, Monica joined Brown Baptist Missionary Baptist Church and remained a member until her untimely death. At Brown Baptist, she was a member of the Women’s Ministry.

After high school, she furthered her education by attending Rust College to study Business Administration. Monica began working as a cashier at Oxford Wal-Mart when she was eighteen. During her years of success, she achieved many accomplishments and received several awards at Wal-Mart and as a licensed stylist. She was such a workaholic.
Just as she worked hard, Monica played hard too. In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoyed shoe, purse, and clothes shopping. She also enjoyed doing hair and makeup.
