Mozell Kelley Obituary

Mrs. Mozell Adams Kelley, widow of the late George Kelley and daughter of the late Daniel and Ethel Echols Adams, was born in Waterford, Mississippi on May 13, 1930. Mrs. Kelley was a Life Member of the NAACP and previously served as past president, and treasurer of the Marshall County Chapter of the NAACP. She was an active member of Finley Grove MB Church where she loved attending and served on the Missionary Board. She also enjoyed singing, traveling and being with family. Mrs. Kelley was a great speaker and oral historian.

Mrs. Kelley was a retired accountant for the U.S. Army and she was married to retired military veteran George Kelley. Mr. Kelley preceded her in death. On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Mrs. Mozell Kelley was reunited with her husband and now they are both in the army of the Lord.

She is lovingly missed and remembered by her son: Michael Kelley of Jacksonville FL; a grand daughter and three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Please keep her son and family in your prayers.
