Nathan Campbell departed this life on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC) in Tupelo, MS.
Nathan was born to the late Nathan “ST” Campbell and Mrs. Rosetta Burt Campbell on November 7, 1998 in Oxford, MS. At an early age, he was dedicated to Christ at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Oxford, MS, where he began his spiritual journey.
Nathan attended Lafayette High School in Oxford, Mississippi, where he was actively involved in JROTC, chorus, and band. He graduated with the Class of 2017. During his school years and beyond, Nathan’s vibrant personality and creative spirit were evident to all who knew him.
After graduation, Nathan chose to live his life unapologetically and authentically. He was truly one of a kind—a joyful soul who loved to sing, dance, and spend time with his friends. Nathan had a passion for creating TikToks, sharing laughter, and spreading happiness. His presence could light up any room, and his energy was contagious. He loved his friends deeply and valued every moment spent with them. Nathan also had aspirations to follow in the footsteps of his father by becoming a cook and one day owning his own food truck—a dream that reflected both his passion and his entrepreneurial spirit.
Nathan was employed at Lost Pizza and The Links & Greens (Lindsey's Management) until his health began to decline. Even during difficult times, his spirit remained strong, and his love for others never wavered.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his devoted mother, Rosetta Campbell; his brother, Broadis “Trey” Toles (Leigh) of Oxford, Mississippi; his sisters, Camille Toles and Katelyn Burt, both of Oxford, Mississippi; Carol Valentine of Memphis, Tennessee; Doris Devita of Chicago, Illinois; Marcia Russell of Birmingham, Alabama; and Lisa Timberlake of Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Nathan “ST” Campbell, and his brothers, Marcus and Michael Campbell. Nathan’s life, though not long, was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4
