Ora accepted Christ at an early age at Harrisonville M.B. Church. She received her education from Central High School and graduated in 1965.

She married the love of her life, Pastor Booker T. Campbell, in 1967 and moved to Milwaukee, WI. There she served as the first lady of Omega M.B. Church and worked as a supervisor for Spic & Span.
