Revorn Shepherd

God brought Revorn Shepherd, Jr. into this world on Monday, May 8, 1961 in Oxford, MS and he called him to rest on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Revorn was the firstborn child to the union of Merlean and Revorn Shepherd. He received his education in the Oxford School District. He was united in matrimony to Bonnie Nelson Shepherd and to this union a son was born.

Revorn was an energetic man, full of life, love and laughter. He was preceded in death by his father, Revorn Shepherd and his maternal grandparents Trudie Lee and Raymond Slaughte, as well as his paternal grandparents Rosie and Jessie Shepherd.

Revorn leaves to cherish his memories: his mother: Merlean Shepherd of Oxford MS; along with his only son, Chance Shepherd, whom he loved dearly, of Oxford MS; he also leaves to cherish his memories: his ex-wife Bonnie Nelson of Oxford MS;  his siblings: Dr. Trudy Shepherd of Jackson MS, Suzanne Shepherd of Oxford MS and Raymond Shepherd (ReAnn) of Tupelo MS, his granddaughters: Arion Shepherd of Calhoun MS and Malia Ella Grace Shepherd of Oxford MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
