Rickey and Cathy Wray

RICKEY WRAY, son of the late Alfred and Ruby Wray, was born December 1, 1951, in Pontotoc, Mississippi.

CATHY McCANN WRAY, daughter of the late Charles and Lois McCann, was born January 13, 1950, Kane County, Illinois.

They were a loving couple for almost 51 years. They passed away February 19, 2024. They are together forever ❤️.

Rickey& Cathy Wray died in their home on February 19, 2024 . Rickey was born on December 1,1951, in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Cathy J. Wray (McCann) born January 13,1950 in Kane County Illinois. They met in Illinois and married April 7, 1973. The couple was blessed with 3 children: Jean Ann Olivier (Dino), Charles Wray, Joanie Perez (Cris) and 8 grandchildren: Christian Turner, Destiny Phillips, Kaylee Phillips, Gabriel Gray, William Phillips, Jr.,  Ashley Phillips, Breanna Kilzer  and Alexis Hopper. 

Rickey Wray is also survived by two brothers: Jimmy Wray and Wayne Wray. Cathy Wray is also survived her brother: Timothy McCann and her sister: Susan Krieger. They were married for almost 51 years and could have never lived without one another. They loved their kids, grandkids and their dog, Dixie more then anything. They will be missed beyond measures. 

“So with you: Now is your time of grief,  but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take your joy.” (John 16:22). 

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley,  I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff,  they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)
