Royonda Willingham Obituary

Royonda Michelle Willingham, affectionately known as Poolie, was born October 3, 1972. Poolie was the perfect bundle of joy and was the last child born to Howard Lynn Willingham and Irene O. Willingham Poolie brought so much joy into their lives and that joy spread to the many lives that she touched thereafter. Poolie received her formal education in the Oxford School district and graduated with the Oxford High School "Class of 1994."

Being raised in a Christian home, Poolie learned about Jesus and accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age at Clear Creek M.B. Church in Oxford, Mississippi where she joined the choir and she loved singing in the choir and was an active member of Clear Creek M.B. Church until her health begin to decline. Poolie also loved to dance, and spend time with her family and she assisted with helping raise her nieces and nephews.

On Tuesday, June 24, 2005, while at Baptist Memorial Hospital/NM, Poolie's physical body succumbed to the forces of this earthly life and she obeyed the will of God and went home to be at rest.
