Sean Carlos Juan Burt

Sean Carlos Juan Burt, the eldest son of Betty Burt, was born August 23, 1977, in Oxford, MS.

Sean Carlos accepted Christ as a child and was baptized at Harrisonville Missionary Baptist Church. It was there he found his mentor, Pastor Robert Earl Vaughn.

He attended Lafayette County schools. Sean enjoyed dancing, singing and shopping. He was a fun and loving person and quite the jokester. He loved his family, especially his little sister, “Fatty,” as he would often call her.

On Sunday evening, January 23, 2022, Sean Carlos passed away in Memphis, TN. He will be missed by those who loved him most. Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Betty Burt of Oxford, MS; siblings, Kenjii Burt of Water Valley, MS, Cassidy Johnson of Oxford, MS, Jazzmonica Johnson of Oxford, MS, and Santana (Larry) Payton of Hampton, VA; nieces, Shilecia Burt of Water Valley, MS and Kasey Payton of Hampton, VA; nephews, Eikiesha Burt of Water Valley, MS, Kourtney and Kamryn Payton both of Hampton, VA, and Keegan Johnson of Oxford, MS; and a host of other relatives and family friends.

Sean Carlos was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe Willie and Connie Elizabeth Burt.
