Sharon Evette Williams was born on September 16, 1957 to Shelly Williams and Etta Mae Williams (Pettis) in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated with honors from Oxford High School in 1975. She went on to attend Northwestern Junior College and Alcorn State University where she studied medicine.  She later worked at the Wisconsin Gas Company.

Although Sharon had many health problems from an early age, she chose to be a joyful, positive person to all she met. Sharon departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at St. Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN. She will truly be missed by all who knew, and loved her. 

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Shelly Williams and Etta Mae Pettis. She is survived by her son, Kendall Williams of Mishawaka, Indiana. Her sisters Shiann  (Anthony) Ivy and Benita Joyce Mathis both from Mishawaka, Indiana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Sharon will be fondly remembered for her beautiful heart, generous spirit, and unparalleled kindness.

On behalf of the family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who are able to attend on zoom or in person the memorial service. Your encouraging words and deeds have meant so much to us. We want to extend  a special thanks to the Silver Birch Senior Living Facility that took such good care of Sharon. There are no Words to express our appreciation to each and every one of you!
