Shaunta Demond Blake

Shaunta Demond Blake was born to Cathy Blake and Willie Pegues in Oxford, MS, on Monday, April 25, 1983. Shaunta confessed faith in Christ at an early age and joined Springfield MB Church.  Shaunta embraced his gift of entertaining others and often brought joy and laughter to those he interacted with. His warm and outgoing personality allowed him to leave great and lasting impressions on the lives of many.

Shaunta leaves to cherish his loving memories: Grandfather: Sulic Malone; Mother: Cathy Blake; Father: Willie Pegues; two brothers: LaTravis Blake and Robert Houston; three sisters: Tiffany Clayton, LaShaundra (Derrick) Gale, and Christina (Durtaveus) Hervey; Three daughters: Nevaeh Morgan, Shauntazya Blake and Alivia Cooper; and two sons: Kameron Blake and Jayceon Williams. Shaunta also leaves many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, as well as a host of other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Shaunta was proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother: Elise Mae Blake; grandfather: C.F. Pegues; paternal grandmother: Cora Pegues; uncles: Wiley Herod and Burley Malone, and aunt: Alice Frison.
