Stanley Lee Obituary

We are remembering Stanley Wayne Lee. Stanley was born November 5, 1970, in Panola County, Mississippi, to Robert and Robbie Carr Lee.

Stanley, being raised in a Christian home, accepted Christ at an early age and united with Eureka A.M.E. Zion Church in Batesville, Mississippi. His church was near and dear to his heart and he remained a member there until his untimely death. Stanley received his education in the South Panola School District and obtained his General Education Development (GED) certificate in 1990.

Stanley, loved the Lord and his church. He served on the Trustee Board, and he loved singing. He was a member of the Sanctuary Choir and Male Chorus for 30 years. Like most South Panolians’, Stanley loved football. He also enjoyed fishing, cooking, and helping others. He had a pure heart and he loved people. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met, whether it was in a joking manner or a word of encouragement. He was a living example of his favorite scripture that’s printed on the front of his program, Ephesians 4:32

Stanley formerly worked for Air Kontrol System and was currently employed (20 years) with Mississippi Department of Transpotation (MDOT) in Batesville MS where he was a striper. He loved his job and his boss, Jim, who was like a father to him.

Stanley Wayne Lee, took Larcell Gordon, to be his lawfully wedded wife on June 9, 2018, in New Orleans LA and they became one.

Stanley had a good, strong, faithful, spiritual heart. But his physical heart, needed healing. And on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital NM, in Oxford MS, the great heavenly physician took him into His operating room and gave him not only a new heart but a new body. Now, Stanley has been healed and made whole.

Stanley leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife: Larcell Gordon Lee of Oxford MS and their children: Miayatta and Javaree Gordon, both of Oxford MS; granddaughter: Namiko Gordon of Oxford MS; his step-father: James Brassell of Batesville MS; his sisters: Blondie Carr, Nancy Carr, Mashunda Lee, and Letha (Henry) Madkins, all of Batesville MS; his aunts and uncles: Jessie M. Carr, Charles (Lillie) Carr, James Carr, Adolf Carr, Michael (Pamela) Lee, and Rosie M. Carr; his Godmother: Yvonne Ford, special sister-in-law: Bridgette Gordon-Booker; and three step brothers. Stanley also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, co-workers, church family and friends to cherish his memory.

Stanley Wayne Lee was preceded in death by his father: Robert Lee and his mother: Robbie Carr Lee Brassell.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
