Stephen H. Vaughn, son of late McKinley Vaughn and Ollie Herod Vaughn was born and raised in Abbeville, MS. He attended Lafayette County Schools. He worked at Grisanti Rebel Motors, Inc. in Oxford, MS and Wal-Mart Distribution Center at New Albany, MS.
Steve was affectionately known as "Sweets" by his family and friends, was a loving, kind-hearted man whose joyful spirit touched everyone he met. He treasured spending time with his family and never missed an opportunity to enjoy life's simple pleasures. Whether he was fishing, grilling good food, or relaxing on the porch sharing stories and laughter with neighbors and friends, Steve's presence brought comfort and happiness to those around him. Being around others was one of Steve's greatest joys, and his generous heart was evident in the countless ways he showed love and kindness. Above all, he cherished his family. Being surrounded by those he loved brought him great joy throughout his life. In his final days, Steve was comforted by the voices and presence of his family—the very thing that brought him the greatest joy until his untimely departure.
Stephen is lovingly remembered by: His children: Stephen Vaughn, II of Abbeville MS and Tabitha (Tommy, Jr.) Bell of Flowood MS; His siblings: Toney (Teresa) Vaughn of Nashville TN, Lawrence (Denise) Vaughn of Brookhaven MS, Delois Vaughn, and Patrece Vaughn both of Abbeville MS, and Curtis Miller of Oxford MS; Two grandchildren; and a host of nieces. nephews, other relatives and friends,
