Tammy Ray Moody

Tammy Ray Moody, daughter of the late James and Odessa Jefferson Moody, was born December 2, 1974, in Oxford. MS. Tammy received her formal education in the Oxford School District and graduated from Oxford High School. She was a homemaker and the proud mother of three wonderful children, Tylaen, Estes and Agnella. 

Tammy had a quiet spirit and she loved her children. She began her Christian journey at Third Baptist Church in Oxford under the leadership of Rev. M.T. Moore.

On Sunday evening, May 4, 2025, Tammy was called home to rest from her labor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Especially her children: Agnella, Estes and Tylaen Caldwell all of Coffeeville, Mississippi and her sister: Dorothy Smith of Montgomery, Illinois. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents: James and Odessa Moody; siblings: James Moody, Jessie Moody, Glenn Moody and Georgia Moody. 

Please keep her children lifted in prayer as they make this transition on new and difficult journey with their mother.
