Thomas Edward Herron was born May 5th, 1952 in Oxford, Mississippi to the union of Jessie and Ruthie Jane Townsend-Herron. He confessed Christ at an early age, was baptized and joined South Salem MB Church. He later joined New Salem MB Church in Oxford, Mississippi under the leadership of Reverend Russell Bailey and was a faithful member until his health failed.

He also enjoyed watching cowboy movies, listening to gospel music, doing carpentry and spending quality time with family and friends.
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Thomas answered the Master’s Call to enter into his kingdom. He transitioned while in Water Valley Nursing home.
